Justice Department settles Parkland school shooting civil cases for $127.5 million

The US Justice Department announced on Wednesday that it will pay a total of $127.5 million to the victims and their families of a 2018 school shooting that happened at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, which killed 17 people and injured 17 others.
