Tiger Beats New Year Music Challenge: Meet the competitors

Connected through music, the Tiger Beats New Year Music Challenge has resonated with audiences from all over the world. 

The month-long challenge, launched by the China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater, was held online from January to February to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Tiger. It invited competitors to pick up any "instruments" (not limited to musical instruments) and drop their beats following the background music of popular Chinese song Wan Jiang. They took part via uploading their video on social media.
