US stocks plunge in fears of aggressive Fed policy

US stocks fell on Tuesday after Federal Reserve Governor Lael Brainard said the central bank could take a more aggressive approach to its tightening policy in the future, and investor concern that a hawkish Fed stance could hamper economic growth.
