The world mistakenly undervalues vocational training when it should be grateful! It doesn't matter how skilled an engineer is if they cannot build what they design. It is the common laborer and skilled tradesman that does that, and when it needs diagnosis, repair or rebuilding, it is the skilled tradesman that does that. Sure, today's EV vehicles are great but the engineer can't assemble them or fix them. When it breaks down and leaves you stranded, the engineer and designer are useless! You need a skilled tradesman to fix it.
