Over 82m COVID-19 vaccine doses discarded in US

Federal agencies, states and pharmacies discarded 82.1 million COVID-19 vaccine doses from December 2020 through mid-May — just over 11 percent of the federal government’s doses, according to data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
