With its politicians taking turns to visit Taiwan, the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee passed the Taiwan Policy Act of 2022, sending it to a vote in the Senate and the House.

As the midterm election nears, both parties are vying for votes.

Their contest has only one test: "Who is tougher on China?"

Actually the US has its own problems. Its stock market is down, inflation is rising, and its economy is bad;

Meanwhile, its allies are suffering because of their sanctions on Russia.

The US should stop targeting China, and solve its real problems instead.
