Launched ANGOSAT-2 satellite in orbit

The ANGOSAT-2 satellite which launched on Wednesday from the Baikonur cosmodrome, in Kazakhstan, is already in orbit.

The satellite, which was sent out at around 8pm local time, 4pm in Angola, weighing two tons and having a high information transfer capacity, traveled 36,000 kilometers from the earth's surface to geostationary orbit.

According to the footage, ANGOSAT-2 has successfully reached the first stage of the process.

ANGOSAT-2 has a transmission capacity seven times greater than that of ANGOSAT-1, which had 16 C-Band and six KU-Band relays.
