Services on the Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway had resumed gradually by 1:50 pm on Monday after the malfunction of a train caused delays.

The bullet train, D952, broke down between Baohuashan and Xianlin stations at around 10 am, according to Nanjing Station.

Trains G7012, G7015, G7009 and G7014 were suspended in the morning. Passengers who had paid for tickets for the suspended trains can get refunds online or at the station within 30 days from the date of travel, the station said.

For detailed delay information, passengers may call the railway hotline 12306 or refer to notices at the station.
