The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is a heart-wrenching sight to behold. It seems that the nations benefiting from this war are unwilling to pursue peace until their leaders and those profiting from the conflict suffer the consequences.

Hundreds of people in London marched from BBC headquarters in Portland Place to Trafalgar Square on Saturday, to demand peace talks in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which passed its one-year anniversary on Friday, raising concern among many Europeans over the possibility of its escalation into a wider war.
