Theaters of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province co-launched a performing arts season with a number of shows to be staged in March, April and May.

Supported by Poly Theatre Management, the season will hold over 100 shows ranging from classical music, dance and Chinese plays at six major theaters of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province.

In March, the Forbidden City Concert Hall will stage six concerts, featuring pianists, cellists, harpsichordists and flutists. On March 31, Shaanxi People's Art Theater's award-winning play, White Deer Plain, which was adapted from Chen Zhongshi's 1993 novel of the same name, will be staged at Tianjin Grand Theater.
