Financial representatives from US and China exchange views

Guo Shuqing, Party secretary of the People's Bank of China, the country's central bank, and chairman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, met with Stephen A. Orlins, president of the National Committee on US-China Relations on Thursday, according to a statement issued by the CBIRC on Friday.

The two sides exchanged views on cooperation between China and the US in the financial industry, the statement said.
