China's new kind of modernity applies enormous creativity for humanity

China has offered an alternate model of modernization other than the "universal" Western mode, a new way to modernity with enormous creativity, said Martin Jacques, Senior Fellow of Cambridge University, at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2023.

China is contributing more to global growth than any other country, and has taken the baton from the United States and become the global leader of world economy, he noted.
