China's development closely intertwined with the world

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China's top industry regulator, said it adheres to a high level of opening-up and supports foreign-funded enterprises to increase their investment in middle to high-end manufacturing as well as research and development centers.

Jin Zhuanglong, minister of industry and information technology, said the development of China's industrial and information industry is closely intertwined with that of the world.

The ministry will continue creating a market-oriented, international business environment based on the rule of law, one that deepens international cooperation in industrial chain and supply chain, digital economy, green manufacturing, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, Jin said at an event named Ambassadors Face to Face with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology last week.

More than 100 foreign diplomats and representatives of international organizations in China participated in activities held by China's Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to learn about its industrial development.

Winfred Nii Okai Hammond, Ghanaian Ambassador to China, told China Daily that Ghana is looking forward to stronger cooperation where the country can tap into the great achievements of China, whether it is in manufacturing, agriculture, health or cross-border trade, all of it.

"We have a lot of Chinese involvement in the industrial development of our country through the Belt and Road Initiative," he said. "We want to really capitalize on that to strengthen that cooperation further."

According to him, 5G has brought the world and China in particular, to another level of development in all fields, including agriculture and especially in the field of medicine and human health.
