The second charter flight carrying more than 140 Chinese nationals evacuated from conflict-hit Sudan arrived around 9:10 pm at Beijing Capital International Airport after a nearly 10-hour flight from Saudi Arabia, China Media Group reported on Tuesday.

There were more than 140 passengers on board, all Chinese nationals, including employees of Chinese companies and students studying abroad.

On April 29, the first charter flight carrying more than 340 Chinese nationals evacuated from conflict-hit Sudan arrived in Beijing.

So far, the vast majority of Chinese nationals have been evacuated from Sudan. China is also the country with the largest number of organized evacuees since the outbreak of the internal conflict in Sudan.
