Bathroom and kitchen product producer Kohler embraces Chinese culture

Kohler Co Ltd, one of the world's major bathroom & kitchen product producers, signed a deal with Forbidden City Culture Development Co Ltd to focus on more cooperation in the development and innovation of Chinese traditional culture.

The IP cooperation, which aims to take advantage of the innovative power of Kohler and the historic value of Chinese tradition culture, will give a boost to both parties, according to the top management of the two companies.

According to David Kohler, CEO of Kohler Co, the IP cooperation with Forbidden City Culture Development Co Ltd will help the company get more inspiration from the Chinese traditional culture and design more innovative products.

Headquartered in Wisconsin, Kohler is one of the biggest family businesses in the US. So far, the company has run 11 factories and more than 800 exhibition centers across China. At the 150-year anniversary, Kohler will strive to further tap the Chinese market, according to the company's top management.
