UK students take part in Chinese language competition

The UK regional round of the 2023 Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for foreign college students took place in London on June 23.
18 British university students, including eight non-Chinese majors and 10 Chinese majors, demonstrated their Chinese proficiency through five tasks, namely speech, a quiz, a self-produced video, a talent show, and an impromptu Q&A.
Sebastian Louis Jackson, a doctoral student from Heriot-Watt University in Scotland, gave a talk about a bowl of beef noodles and won the championship of the non-professional group.
