At the same time, based on the unique Li ethnic culture and the astonishing scenery of Wuzhishan Mountain, the local government encouraged villagers to develop farm stays in their own courtyards and opened stores to sell local special products.

Those who are not good at running businesses of their own can find jobs in their neighbors' farm stays or tea factories of the village.

Last year, Maona village received approximately 120,000 visitors, a year-on-year increase of four times, and the total income of tourism in the village amounted to 6 million yuan.
