The per capita dispensable income in Maona village reached 17,000 yuan, almost three times of that in 2013.
"I used to drink 1500 grams of alcohol a day because of poverty and depression," said Wang Zhengzhu, a Maona villager whose family used to be listed as an impoverished household several years ago.
