Youth Power: Exploring the world through art
The second episode of season three of Youth Power, titled “Unlocking the Power of Art: How Cultural Exchanges Can Connect the World”, will air on July 30 at 8 pm Beijing time (8 am EST).
Art has the ability to convey emotions and facilitate discourse across diverse eras and generations. When it comes to studying Chinese and Western art, the world is constantly awestruck by vibrant Chinese culture and the stunning ways the two blend.
What is the essence of beauty? What influence does Chinese art have on young people? What spiritual pursuit lies behind the Chinese conception of art and beauty? And how do Western art and Chinese art combine to create wonders? The program’s Gen Z guests will try to answer these and many more questions.
