Ruili Airlines has confirmed that there was no bomb on the plane and the passenger who made the false claim on Saturday is under investigation. Responding to Jimu News, a news portal in Hubei province, the airline provided details about a delayed flight at Shenyang Taoxian International Airport.

Flight DR6567, operated by Ruili Airlines, was scheduled to depart from Shenyang, Liaoning province, to Hohhot in Inner Mongolia autonomous region at 7 am. However, the flight faced delays due to a passenger's claim of a bomb onboard. A video posted on Douyin, a short video-sharing platform, showed passengers disembarking the plane while collecting their belongings.

On Saturday, during the boarding process for the rescheduled flight, another passenger became agitated and expressed a desire to terminate the journey. Their disruptive behavior led to the evacuation of passengers from the aircraft. In collaboration with the airport and public security agencies, Ruili Airlines conducted a thorough inspection of the aircraft, passengers, and cargo. Following the comprehensive assessment that ruled out any safety concerns, the flight eventually departed with a delay of over three hours, taking off around 10:30 am.

The police at the airport confirmed to Jimu News that they received a report about the bomb threat on Saturday. Subsequent investigation revealed no evidence of a bomb on the plane. The flight successfully reached its destination, Hohhot, without incident. The passenger responsible for the disruption is currently under investigation, according to the police.
