In a twist of events driven by divination, a Chongqing mother who had previously gone to extreme lengths to prevent her daughter's enrollment at a Beijing university has finally conceded. The mother's change of heart came after she sought guidance from the divine, yielding surprising results.

According to a report of People Magzine, the 17-year-old student, referred to by the pseudonym Jiajia, had been accepted to the prestigious Central Academy of Drama. However, just days before the new semester was set to begin, her mother vanished, leaving behind a heartfelt note expressing regret. The abrupt disappearance included taking vital documents like Jiajia's admission letter, ID card, household registration, and even electronic devices like her iPad and MacBook.

The narrative quickly unfolded as Jiajia recounted her mother's persistent objections to her attending the Beijing institution. The mother held a fervent desire for Jiajia to stay in their hometown of Chongqing, aspiring to mold her into a lifelong educator. Jiajia had been subjected to significant restrictions, with her mother overseeing her university applications to ensure they aligned solely with teaching majors and local options.

However, the daughter managed to alter her choices in secrecy, submitting applications to universities outside of Chongqing. The clandestine act was rooted in a desire for autonomy, as Jiajia sought to escape her mother's controlling behavior, which even extended to her culinary preferences and independent travel.

Jiajia's story gained traction on social media platforms, sparking a conversation on the dynamics of parental control and the challenges it poses to parent-child relationships. Netizens weighed in with suggestions and empathy for Jiajia's predicament, proposing methods for her to reach her desired destination without the stolen documents.

Efforts to resolve the situation escalated as Jiajia engaged with the Central Academy of Drama, which agreed to accommodate her registration without the missing admission letter. Local law enforcement was also called in to mediate the familial dispute.

The unexpected turning point came when the mother resurfaced and, in an astonishing departure from her prior stance, endorsed Jiajia's choice. The change was attributed to the mother's recourse to divination, consulting the divine for signs twice. Remarkably, both instances produced indications that aligned with Jiajia's aspirations.
