Two earthquakes strike Xinjiang in one day

Two separate earthquakes jolted different parts of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region on Tuesday, with no immediate reports of casualties or damages.
A 4.6-magnitude earthquake occurred at 4:08 pm on Tuesday in Bachu county of Kashgar, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter was monitored at 39.39 degrees north latitude and 78.09 degrees east longitude with a depth of 10 kilometers.
Earlier in the day at 12:02 pm, another quake with a magnitude of 3.7 struck Kuche city of Aksu.
The earlier epicenter was monitored at 41.32 degrees north latitude and 83.78 degrees east longitude with a depth of 15 kilometers.
A 3.1-magnitude aftershock occurred nearby at 1:23 pm with a depth of 10 km.
