A major online car-hailing company Didi Chuxing's booth also attracted much attention. Foreign visitors took photos of the unmanned online-hailing car at the exhibition.
Safety is one of the top priorities the company focuses in recent years. Many measures have been carried out such as cooperating with the public security departments to conduct thorough background check for drivers and monitoring drivers' risk behaviors, a staff explained on site.
Two unmanned drones have been displayed at the booth of SF Express, one of the major express delivery companies in China. Visitors raised questions about what scenarios of the drones are being used. A staff explained in medical services and in remote areas.
The exhibition will open to public on Wednesday in Beijing. It opened to professional visitors on Monday and Tuesday.
China's transportation sector has seen significant development in the past decade.
As of last year, the country had a road network of more than 5.36 million kilometers, of which 177,000 km were freeways. The railway network had been extended to 155,000 km, with 42,000 km of high-speed railways.
