The Earth's rising temperature has led to the melting of some permafrost near the poles that has been frozen for thousands of years, which will release ancient microbes, bacteria and viruses, and some viruses have been frozen for nearly 50,000 years but are still infectious, Bloomberg reported recently. That could have a catastrophic impact on humans.
