The MH370 case is scheduled to go to trial on Nov 27, according to a representative of the families of the missing passengers.

Jiang Hui, the representative, said they have received a court notice from the Chaoyang District People's Court, Beijing and the case will be heard on Nov 27.

The families are quite pleased to see the progress of the case, hoping for a favorable interim or final verdict, Jiang said.

In March 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, carrying 227 passengers, including 154 Chinese passengers, departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport with its destination as Beijing Capital International Airport, but went missing before arrival. The cause of the plane's disappearance still remains unknown.
