SANAA -- Fighter jets of the US and British navy forces stationing in the Red Sea launched four airstrikes on Yemen's port city of Hodeidah on Thursday, Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported.
The television said the strikes hit the areas of Hodeidah International Airport, Ras Issa, and al-Jabbanah without further details.
Residents in Hodeidah confirmed that there were multiple airstrikes in and around the city on Houthi sites.
The coalition has yet to comment on the alleged strikes.
On Wednesday, the Houthi group said it attacked a US-owned cargo ship in the Gulf of Aden with multiple missiles.
The US Central Command said the Houthi anti-ship ballistic missiles killed three sailors, injured four others and caused significant damage to the ship.
Despite US-British airstrikes almost on a daily basis against Houthi targets, Houthis have vowed their attacks against ships will continue until Israel stops its offensive against the Palestinian militant Hamas.
