The education bureau, public security bureau and three other departments of Fuzhou, Fujian province, published a notice on Monday stating that the city plans to set up an anti-bullying report box at all of the city's primary and secondary schools.

The notice said schools should also set up a special task force to deal with such reports.

The goal of the notice is to improve anti-bullying efforts and prevent any forms of bullying at schools.

Schools are to collect reports from offline and online channels, offer timely protection and mediation services to the bullied students, and hold perpetrators legally responsible when necessary.

The notice said the boxes should be clearly visible and have a QR code to offer online reporting channels.

Schools must ensure the reports stay anonymous, check reports routinely, strengthen protection for the bullied students, and offer them psychological help and medical services, the notice added.
