Small, but beautiful

More than 200 objects of different kinds from Luxembourg's National Museum of Archaeology, History and Art have traveled to Zhengzhou, Henan province, where they are on show at the ongoing exhibition Small but Beautiful. Running until Aug 4, the show gathers stoneware, ceramics, coins, maps and other items to present the intriguing history, diverse culture and metropolitan elegance of Luxembourg, one of the smallest countries in the world.

The history of Luxembourg can be traced to the Paleolithic age, as work tools have been uncovered during archaeological activities. Objects from medieval times reveal the changing social lives under the rule of several sovereigns. Modern developments have shaped Luxembourg into an open, wealthy and culturally diverse nation and a popular destination for tourists from around the world, including China.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the beginning of airfreight operations between Luxembourg and Zhengzhou.

9 am-5 pm, closed on Mondays.8 Nongye Lu, Jinshui district, Zhengzhou, Henan province.
