Huatu Education Group, a Chinese education company known for its training on national civil servants, signed a cooperation with the National University of Malaysia on Thursday, as the two parties will cooperate to establish a training and teaching base to meet the soaring talent demands from large Chinese companies like TikTok.

According to the agreement, Huatu Education will be responsible for the investment and construction of the training and teaching base, dubbed as ASEAN college, in the National University of Malaysia, while the university will offer venues and teaching support.

After training, students who meet the graduation requirements of the National University of Malaysia will obtain a degree at the National University of Malaysia, which is highly recognized worldwide.

Cooperation between the two parties is expected to further promote exchanges between China and Malaysia in the fields of education, economy and culture, industry experts said.

The National University of Malaysia, as one of the five research universities in Malaysia, is known for its high teaching quality and scientific research strength. Huatu Education has rich experience and resources in the training of national civil servants, teachers and other talents. It has over 1,000 branches across the country and boasts excellent talent recruitment capabilities.

Apart from training and teaching, the new cooperation project also includes a talent training program between China and Malaysia, where outstanding Chinese students can be selected to study at the National University of Malaysia and work in large Chinese companies after graduation.
