Focusing on the "Chinese-style modernization characterized by harmonious coexistence between man and nature" theme, the delegation visited Ningxia's industrial parks, factories, wineries, the Helan Mountains, the Yellow River and deserts.

Through the region's practices and achievements in characteristic industries, ecological governance and rural vitalization, they gained firsthand experience of Ningxia's practice of Chinese-style modernization.

Thelikada Kankanamge Asela Prabath Kumara, a PhD student at Beijing Foreign Studies University, said he thought Ningxia was a desert region. After arriving, he saw hope in the greenery and was surprised by the successful practice of desertification control.

Baidak Melissa, another PhD student at Beijing Foreign Studies University, was visiting for the third time. "I am surprised to see the previously barren land transformed into such a thriving place in a short period of time. I will take these successful experiences back to Russia and share Yinchuan's success with more people," she said.
