Li Shisong, deputy governor of Yunnan province, is being investigated for suspected severe violations of Party disciplines and national laws, China's top anti-corruption watchdogs said on Tuesday.

The investigation has been disclosed by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Commission of Supervision online.

Born in 1969 in Yunnan, Li started his career in 1990 and joined the Party in 1995. Over the past three decades, he had worked for his hometown with various work posts, such as mayor of Qujing city and head of the provincial industry and information department.
