Landscape artist's new works celebrate classical traditions

The vivid works are evident of his researches of the monumental landscapes of the Song Dynasty (960-1279), as well as the neat composition and elegant colors pursued by Song's court artists in their flower-and-bird paintings.

His work also celebrates the spirituality and aloofness to mark the paintings of bureaucratic-artists in the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.
