More than a dozen high-level government representatives from countries and regions, such as Papua New Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Thailand, Cape Verde, Belarus, Malawi and Fiji, joined the livestream of East Buy Holding Ltd, one of the country's most popular livestreaming e-commerce platforms, on Friday.

It was part of the sideline activities at the ongoing second High-level Conference of the Forum on Global Action for Shared Development organized by China International Development Cooperation Agency in Beijing.

The conference aims to forge international consensus on development and foster new drivers for global growth.

At the livestream on Friday, those government representatives shared their experience of participating in this forum and stories of China with other countries and regions. They also recommend high-quality products and cultural tourism projects from their own markets to Chinese netizens.

Anchors from East Buy also recommend some globally selected products, such as Thai golden pillow durian, Chilean salmon, and Ethiopian coffee beans, to netizens during the activity.

East Buy said that it was honored to be able to make use of digital power to drive cultural communication between China and other countries and regions and was looking forward to exploring more possibilities of digital cooperation.
