Chairman of AmCham China reveals Shandong's appeal to global investors

During the fifth Qingdao Multinationals Summit, held from Aug 27 to 29 in Qingdao, Shandong province, Sean Stein, chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China), lauded the openness of Shandong, citing it as the pivotal reason why numerous multinational companies choose to participate in the Qingdao summit.
Stein said that Shandong's openness and practical approach have captured the interest of many foreign businesses, infusing fresh dynamism into the Chinese and global economic landscapes.
AmCham China, a nonprofit organization, boasts member companies spanning diverse sectors, collectively representing a significant cohort of nearly 1,000 foreign enterprises operating in China.
The fifth Qingdao Multinationals Summit maintained its core theme of "Multinationals and China". At the summit's opening ceremony, a research report titled Multinationals in China: Sharing New Opportunities of Chinese Modernization was unveiled by the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce of China.
