The Chinese men's national football team will face Saudi Arabia on Tuesday at the Suoyuwan Football Stadium in Dalian, Liaoning province, in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers. Local police issued a notice on Friday to emphasize the importance of maintaining order and ensuring the safety of all attendees.

According to the notice released on Dalian Fabu, Dalian's official WeChat account, spectators are urged to refrain from surrounding coaches, players, staff and visiting team fans after the match. Prohibited actions include throwing objects onto the field, igniting flammable materials, climbing over barriers, and rushing onto the field.

Additionally, slogans or banners with provocative or insulting content are strictly forbidden.

The Chinese team suffered a 7-0 defeat to Japan on Thursday in Saitama, Japan, in their 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers third-round opener. The defeat was hotly discussed and became a trending topic on domestic social media platforms.
