The 26th China Mining Conference and Exhibition will be held in Tianjin from Oct 15 to 18 to promote international mining cooperation for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, said the China Mining Association, a major host of the event, on Thursday.
In addition to exhibition of mining-related equipment, the event will also hold 23 forums and 12 dedicated product and brand promotion sessions.
This year’s event is expected to attract nearly 400 domestic and international exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions. Ministers of mining from more than 10 countries, including Tajikistan and Turkiye, as well as relevant diplomats from these countries, will attend the conference.
Major corporations in the mining sector such as Rio Tinto and Anglo American, alongside leading domestic mining enterprises, have confirmed their participation.
Cheng Liwei, head of the China Mining Association, said: "We anticipate that the number of participating enterprises will exceed last year's by half. This year's mining conference is expected to fully recover and even surpass the scale and level prior to the pandemic."
