SUFE unveils plan to enhance postgraduate education in finance and economics

SUFE's Party Secretary, Xu Tao, reiterated the university's commitment to collaborative efforts with other institutions nationwide to pioneer innovative approaches in postgraduate education. He expressed confidence that this collective endeavor would significantly enrich China's economic and educational landscape.

President of SUFE, Liu Yuanchun, highlighted the pressing need for postgraduate programs to adapt to the demands of the digital era and national strategies. He outlined SUFE's comprehensive approach, emphasizing the pillars of bolstering digital disciplines, integrating industry-oriented practices into curriculum development, and fostering a paradigm shift in talent cultivation through strategic partnerships with industry giants like the Alibaba Group.

The forum also featured enlightening keynote speeches from distinguished figures within the education sector, who shared valuable insights on postgraduate education reforms, faculty development, and the integration of digital technologies and interdisciplinary methodologies into talent cultivation strategies.

Yao Lingzhen, vice president of SUFE, unveiled the university's groundbreaking plan, designed to nurture strategic, practical-minded, and innovative future leaders. The plan places a strong emphasis on industry-education integration and showcases an innovative talent training model supported by ten strategic initiatives aimed at establishing a top-tier postgraduate education system.

A roundtable discussion provided a platform for university leaders to engage in a dynamic exchange of ideas on shaping the future landscape of postgraduate education in finance and economics, ensuring that graduates are equipped with the required skills and knowledge to excel in an ever-evolving global arena.
