Israel launches airstrike in central Beirut: local media

BEIRUT -- Israel launched an airstrike in the al-Bachoura area in central Beirut Wednesday night, causing significant damage to nearby houses and parked vehicles, al-Jadeed local TV channel reported.

It noted that the airstrike targeted the Health Authority Center affiliated with Hezbollah.
