In an effort to better leverage both technological and resource-based support for research and development, Chinese tech firm Inspur Droso Big Data said it has recently entered a comprehensive partnership with the City University of Hong Kong to promote advancements in smart business.
Under the agreement, the big data company will provide the university with enterprise-level software support, including data warehousing and business data governance platform technologies, which are expected to help establish a comprehensive big data analysis infrastructure for the laboratory, it said.
High-quality datasets from its Shenzhen research team, in compliance with relevant regulations, will also be supplied to support data analysis and modeling research. This initiative aims to uncover the value of data in the business sector more effectively.
In addition, Inspur Droso will assist in developing the university's curriculum, focusing on cultivating talent with foresight in digital transformation and practical skills in big data. The company also plans to offer career guidance and job placement support for outstanding graduates, creating a fast track for professional development.
As a hub for global business digitalization, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area stands to benefit from this partnership, which is expected to further accelerate the region's digital transformation in business as well as contribute to the high-quality development of higher education.
