Electricity supply boosts corn production process

As the harvest season peaks, fresh corn processing enterprises in Hezheng county, Linxia of Gansu province, are at their busiest.

"This is the prime time for processing fresh corn in large quantities," said the head of the Shengrong fruit corn planting base in Hezheng county. “Key steps like freshness preservation, washing, sterilization, and packaging all rely on a steady power supply. We appreciate the reliable electricity service."

To ensure that the processing operations run smoothly, local authorities in Linxia have intensified efforts to guide companies on safe electricity usage, making sure the power supply for corn processing remains stable. Technicians have been inspecting the fields and processing facilities to identify potential electrical safety issues and enhance the reliability of the power supply during this crucial harvest period.

The ongoing efforts to improve electricity services are part of a broader initiative to support rural development and local industries. By integrating power services into administrative and village networks, the State Grid Linxia Power Supply Co has fostered closer coordination with local grid managers to resolve electricity issues promptly, providing crucial support to agricultural enterprises.

So far, the company has visited 13 rural enterprises, offered six practical recommendations, answered 22 queries on-site, and assisted in addressing 33 electrical safety concerns. Moving forward, the company said it plans to further streamline service channels, expedite problem resolution, and continue optimizing the local electricity supply environment to support the sustainable growth of the region's agricultural sector.
