NASA's SpaceX Crew-8 returns to Earth

LOS ANGELES -- NASA's SpaceX Crew-8 astronauts returned to Earth on Friday, completing a seven-month science mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft carrying the crew splashed down off the coast of Pensacola, US state of Florida, at 3:29 a.m. Eastern Time Friday.

The four-member crew include NASA astronauts Matthew Dominick, Michael Barratt, and Jeanette Epps, as well as Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin.

The mission is NASA's eighth commercial crew rotation mission with SpaceX to the ISS.
