The Supreme People's Procuratorate has issued an arrest order for Qin Rupei, the former vice chairman of the Guangxi regional government, for alleged bribe-taking.
Qin's alleged misconduct was thoroughly examined by the National Commission of Supervision before being transferred to prosecutors, as detailed in a statement released by the procuratorate on Monday.
Prior to his arrest, Qin was expelled from the Communist Party of China and dismissed from public office for serious violations of Party discipline and laws.
