United States tech firm Qualcomm Inc said on Tuesday it was positive on President-elect Donald Trump's incoming administration, and not worried that the administration would affect its business in China.

In an investor event on Tuesday, Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon said he did not see problems for the company's business in China, which accounted for 46 percent of Qualcomm's total revenue in its most recent fiscal year.

Previous US tariffs on Chinese products did not hurt Qualcomm and its Chinese clients are still buying Qualcomm's automotive chips, he said.
