Chinese artist to show his latest 'yy' series in Italy

For the past four years, Cai Wanlin has toured with yy, a character he launched in 2020 in paintings and sculptures at home and abroad. The boy-like image aimed to evoke a resonance among the audience for presenting an atmosphere of loneliness, uncertainties but one who also has the guts to pursue dreams.

Cai's latest yy series of works will be shown at the upcoming Art in the Heart, an art exhibition to be held at the IsolaSET, a space at Palazzo Lombardia, in Milan.

The exhibition will show works of prominent artists including Andy Warhol and Gaetano Pesce, from Dec 3 to Jan 6, to enhance the festive feelings from Christmas to New Year.
