We are aware that imperialism never gives up anything without a fight. Concessions were made as a result of tremendous struggles of the peoples of the South. As China progressed it shared its prosperity with the rest of the Third World. The People's Republic of China invested in many poor countries that could not get loans from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
