Shanghai Snow World Hotel opens

A hotel featuring 17 pioneering ski-in/ski-out suites, enabling guests to step directly onto the snow and access the ski slopes, officially opened at the Shanghai L+ Snow Indoor Skiing Theme Resort on Friday.

As the new property under the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) Vignette Collection brand in China, the Shanghai Snow World Hotel is situated within the Guinness World Records-certified world's largest indoor snow park.

In addition to the 17 suites, the hotel offers 272 rooms and four restaurants and bars, with one restaurant situated on the 18th floor, providing a picturesque view of the enchanting snow world.

The hotel also provides exclusive services such as fast-track access to the ski slopes, ensuring convenience for skiing enthusiasts entering and exiting the snow park.

The Shanghai L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort officially opened on Sept 6 in the Lin-gang Special Area in Shanghai. Its Snow World covers over 90,000 square meters and offers more than 20 snow-themed entertainment activities and four different difficulty levels of ski slopes.

Adjacent to the snow park is a 20,000 square-meter Viking-themed water world, featuring a two-tiered Viking ship and 26 dynamic water slides, including two multi-layer slides and a breathtaking suspended outdoor slide.

Furthermore, the Shanghai L+ Snow Indoor Skiing Theme Resort also houses a professional 1,891 square-meter ice rink managed by Champion Rink.
