In addition to being displayed in the exhibition, the artworks will be spread in the form of posters to reach a wider audience. These artworks and the posters carry the real feelings of people living with HIV and the voices of the artists to inspire communities to learn more about HIV/AIDS, learn to prevent HIV/AIDS and work together to create a more friendly social atmosphere. The small differences made by everyone will eventually converge into a powerful synergy to boost social awareness and behavioral changes. Then, the vision of building a better world will be realized.
"If the young people are strong, the country will be strong. Young people are the future of the country and the hope of the nation, and it is crucial to strengthen HIV prevention education for young people," said Hao Yang, director of the Chinese Association of STD and AIDS Prevention and Control. "Over the years, the Chinese Association of STD and AIDS Prevention and Control has united and mobilized social forces to implement the Chinese HIV prevention and treatment strategy. For a long time, the association has attached great importance to HIV prevention education for young people and has carried out publicity, testing mobilization, care and advocacy on campuses. We hope that through a series of innovative activities, we can enhance young people's awareness and knowledge of HIV prevention and treatment, advance HIV prevention and treatment, and make contributions to controlling the HIV epidemic, reducing the harm of the disease and promoting public health so as to realize the goal of ending AIDS."
