Reliable heating service a priority for power supplier

As reliable heating has become a top priority for residents during winter season, Laiwu in Shandong province has implemented a series of measures to ensure safe and efficient electricity usage for the heating end.

A technical team has recently visited Laiwu Gas Heating Co, a major heating provider for the city, to conduct a thorough inspection and identify potential safety risks. A detailed analysis of historical energy consumption data was also carried out, leading to tailored recommendations for optimizing energy efficiency.

Recognizing the importance of stable and smooth operations, Laiwu has also assembled an expert team to monitor and analyze the operational data of power equipment across heating enterprises of the city. The move focuses on identifying inefficiencies, maximizing energy-saving potential, and enhancing overall energy utilization to support winter heating demands, said State Grid Laiwu Power Supply Co, the region’s power operator and supplier.

A green service channel has also been established to prioritize power-related requests from heating providers, while emergency repair teams have been strengthened to ensure rapid responses, the electricity supplier said, adding that it has also stockpiled essential repair materials and equipment to minimize downtime in the event of power outages.
