Chengdu-made robots provide security and sales at table tennis tournament

Xie Haijie, brand manager of Haomo. AI's marketing department, said the robot is an upgraded version of the company's self-developed HDeliver automatic distribution vehicle for terminal logistics. Previously, it had been used at the Chengdu FISU World University Games and the International Horticultural Exhibition 2024 Chengdu.

Management personnel can monitor the venue's conditions through the robot's perspective and issue warnings of any violations around the venue using sound and light signals, he said.

Luo Ying, marketing manager of Chengdu Eventec Technology, said the robot developed by her company is a retail promotion robot designed for large spaces, transportation hubs, shopping malls and exhibitions.

"The robot can carry many products and seek out target consumers in large, complex commercial environments, offering product and information promotion services," she said.
