Chengdu-made robots provide security and sales at table tennis tournament

Chengdu is home to over 80 robot industry enterprises, initially forming a comprehensive industry chain covering key components, robot bodies, system integration and end-user applications, according to Chengdu's economy and information technology bureau.

On Oct 28, the Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center unveiled an ultra-lightweight humanoid robot named Konka-1. It is capable of thinking, reasoning and handling complex tasks.
